59-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Mayo Boulevard

PHOENIX, AZ (February 24, 2025) – Early Tuesday evening, Lisa Etling was killed in a two-vehicle collision on 64th Street.

Police officers responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m., near Mayo Boulevard on February 11th.

Upon arrival, first responders located two severely damaged vehicles at the intersection.

Per reports, Etling was driving east on Mayo Boulevard and attempted to make a turn onto 65th Street. There, Etling crashed into another vehicle.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 59-year-old Etling dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the other driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment of minor injuries.

No other information was added by authorities, and the crash remains under active investigation.
