56-Year-Old Long Beach Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Broadway 

ANAHEIM, CA (February 20, 2025) – Sunday evening, Suzanne Fierro was killed and Samantha Farris was arrested after a DUI crash on Magnolia Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 10:00 p.m., at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Broadway.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman trapped inside a red Honda crossover SUV. 

According to investigators, a white sedan turned left in front of the Honda, causing the two vehicles to collide.

Firefighters extricated the trapped woman inside the Honda and transported her to a hospital where she died from her injuries. 

Later, the Anaheim Police Department identified the female victim as 56-year-old Suzanne Fierro from Long Beach. 

Based on several witness statements, they spotted the driver of the white sedan drinking alcohol at a nearby eatery prior to the incident. 

Authorities arrested the sedan driver, 29-year-old Samantha Farris of Buena Park, for felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
