Van Vs. Car Collision near Manzanita Avenue Left One Dead, Another Hospitalized
CARMICHAEL, CA (February 19, 2025) – Saturday, one driver was killed and another suffered injuries in a red-light crash on Madison Avenue.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m., near Manzanita Avenue just north of Denver Drive.
Investigators say the driver of a van sped past a red-light at the intersection and hit the left side of a car.
First responders pronounced the sedan driver dead at the scene. Officials only identified the sedan driver as a man in his 30s.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the van driver to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Sacramento County officials will provide more information regarding the Madison Avenue two-vehicle crash once available.
