60-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian vs Pickup-Truck Collision near Reseda Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 19, 2025) – Tuesday morning, one man was critically injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Clark Street.
Police received reports around 9:30 a.m., at the intersection of Clark Street and Reseda Boulevard.
Investigators say the driver of a black Ford F-150 turned left onto Clark Street and hit a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
Subsequently, the driver pulled over on the side of the road and checked on the victim. However, the male driver returned to his F-150 and fled the scene.
Responding paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department transported the 60-year-old male victim to a hospital. The unnamed pedestrian remains hospitalized in critical condition.
At the time of the incident, authorities determined that the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie, a baseball hat, and dark-colored pants. Witnesses also saw the suspect hauling a couch and two garbage bins in the pickup truck bed.
