60-Year-Old Man Dies in Rollover Collision near Trowbridge
EL PASO, TX (February 11, 2025) – Saturday evening, Juan Antonio Ortega was killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 10.
Authorities responded to the scene near Trowbridge on February 1st after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Per reports, 60-year-old Ortega was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger east on the freeway when he lost control and veered off the road. The Ford then struck a curb and a nearby 2019 Toyota Corolla.
Due to the impact of the collision, Ortega suffered life-threatening injuries and passed away at the scene.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Authorities added no other information and an active investigation is still ongoing.
