One Pronounced Dead, Two Hospitalized after Single-Car Collision near Stemmler Drive
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 19, 2025) – Friday evening, a solo-vehicle crash on Arena Boulevard left a woman dead and two others hurt.
The fatal incident happened shortly before 8:30 p.m., in the area of Arena Boulevard and Stemmler Drive.
According to investigators, a car with three occupants struck a curb before crashing into a nearby tree. Responding emergency personnel pronounced the female passenger of the vehicle dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, a juvenile passenger was rushed to an area hospital where they remain in stable condition. The woman driving the vehicle went with the child to the hospital, officials said.
At this time, the Sacramento Police Department believed that speed contributed to the crash.
