Two Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Jones Road
BRYAN, TX (January 27, 2025) – Early Sunday, Rebecca Franklin and Nikolas Trapp were killed in a head-on crash on John Sharp Parkway.
Just before 2:00 a.m., Bryan Police Officers responded to the 6800 block of John Sharp Parkway on January 12th.
Investigators say Franklin was driving a 2017 Honda Accord south in the northbound lanes. As a result, the Honda collided head-on with a northbound 2019 Honda Civic, driven by Trapp.
Due to the impact of the crash, medics pronounced 29-year-old Franklin and 19-year-old Trapp dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported Trapp’s passenger to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Officials have not provided any additional information about the crash to the public at this time.
