56-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Flemons Avenue

STOCKTON, CA (January 23, 2025) – A hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Mariposa Road took the life of a male pedestrian Sunday morning. 

Dispatchers received calls around 8:04 p.m., near Flemons Avenue in Park District. 

According to the police report, a pedestrian was struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene immediately. 

Upon arrival, first responders declared the victim dead at the scene. Officials only identified the deceased pedestrian as a 56-year-old man. Police officers will release the name of the victim once available.  

At this time, authorities have yet to provide any further information about the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. 

Stockton Officials will provide more information regarding the fatal Mariposa Road hit-and-run crash once the investigation has concluded.
