Woman Dies in Head-On Collision on Lopes Road [Fairfield, CA]
28-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Head-On Accident near Silver Creek Road
FAIRFIELD, CA (January 20, 2025) – Early Sunday morning, one woman was killed in a head-on collision on Lopes Road.
Fairfield police officers responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m., near Silver Creek Road on January 5th.
Reports indicate that one vehicle was heading north while another vehicle was heading south.
For reasons under investigation, one of the drivers veered into oncoming lanes, resulting in a head-on collision.
Consequently, authorities transported a 28-year-old woman to the hospital with critical injuries where she later passed away. Officers have not yet released her name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with troopers. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
