Fatality Reported after 2-Vehicle Crash on Bunk Foss Road Southeast [Snohomish County, WA]
One Victim Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near South Machias Road
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA (January 16, 2025) – Friday afternoon, one fatality was reported after a 2-vehicle crash on Bunk Foss Road Southeast.
Police officers responded to the scene around 1:00 p.m., near South Machias Road on January 9th.
Per reports, two pickup-trucks collided head-on at the intersection. However, further events leading up to the incident still remain unclear.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced one driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other driver sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics arrived and transported the other injured driver to Providence Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Troopers blocked the surrounding area for a brief time while they cleared the wreck. Police stated that speed played a role in the collision. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
