Juvenile Pronounced Dead after Electric-Scooter Collision near Cajun Street

ODESSA, TX (December 5, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, one juvenile was killed in an electric-scooter crash on Riverboat Boulevard.

The Odessa Police Department responded to the scene just before 1:00 p.m., near Cajun Street on November 16th.

Upon arrival, crews determined that the driver of a vehicle struck a juvenile on an electric-scooter.

Medical personnel located the victim down on the ground with life-threatening injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

During preliminary duties, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officers say no charges were filed against the driver, and further investigation is still currently underway.
