Juvenile Passenger Killed in 2-Car Collision on Brimhall Road [Bakersfield, CA]
2-Year-Old Pronounced Dead after Dual-Car Crash near Jenkins Frontage Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 11, 2024) – Saturday evening, one juvenile passenger was killed in a 2-car collision on Brimhall Road.
First responders arrived to the scene around 8:40 p.m., near Jenkins Frontage Road in the Masterpiece Estates.
Police officers say the driver of a westbound red Honda collided a red Chevrolet that was heading north.
Responding EMTs declared the 2-year-old passenger inside the Chevrolet dead at the scene, due to the extent of injuries sustained.
Authorities said that both drivers of the vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Bakersfield Officials said the intersection is being controlled in all four directions by posted stop signs. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the two-vehicle crash remain unclear.
