Dual-Traffic Collision near University Avenue Left 47-Year-Old Male Driver Dead
HANFORD, CA (October 30, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a collision between two vehicles on Grangeville Boulevard claimed the life of Parth Patel.
Police responded to reports on October 22nd at the intersection of Grangeville Boulevard and University Avenue.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the crash. However, investigators claimed that failure to stop at a red light might have caused the incident.
Responding emergency units transported the two drivers involved to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries.
Later, one of the drivers – identified as 47-year-old Parth Patel succumbed to their injuries at the Adventist Health Hanford.
At this time, the Hanford Police Department is working to determine whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the incident.
