54-Year-Old Moreno Valley Man Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Crash near Western Avenue 

GARDENA, CA (October 9, 2024) – Saturday, a collision between a bus and a motorcycle on 139th Street claimed the life of Ernest Ridgle.

Authorities responded to the scene around 6:10 p.m., near Western Avenue.

Per reports, the rider of a southbound motorcycle rear-ended a bus before colliding with another vehicle. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. On Monday, the Gardena Police Department identified the deceased rider as 54-year-old Ernest Ridgle of Moreno Valley.
