66-Year-Old Man Dead, 19-Year-Old Man Involved in Pedestrian Collision near Carlos G Parker Boulevard

TAYLOR, TX (September 17, 2024) – Monday morning, Gary Krause died, and Jesus Angel Huicochea was involved in a crash on North Main Street.

Officers responded to dispatch calls at approximately 6:11 a.m., near the 3700 block of North Main Street and Carlos G Parker Boulevard on September 9th.

Reports indicate that 66-year-old Gary Krause was crossing North Main Street when a southbound black 2014 Dodge, driven by 19-year-old Huicochea of Houston, struck him.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced Krause dead at the scene. It is unclear whether Krause was in a marked crosswalk during the collision.

Meanwhile, authorities have not filed any charges related to the incident.
