Unidentified Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Orange Grove Road

TUCSON, AZ (August 20, 2024) – Late Thursday afternoon, one pedestrian was fatally struck by a pickup-truck on North Oracle Road.

The incident happened on the northbound lanes near Orange Grove Road just after 5:00 p.m., on August 15th.

Crews say the driver of a pickup-truck fatally struck a pedestrian who was walking outside of a designated crosswalk near the intersection.

Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Responding personnel shut down the surrounding area of North Oracle Rod for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
