Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Godley Road [Lincoln, CA]
Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Mount Pleasant Road
LINCOLN, CA (August 13, 2024) – Early Tuesday evening, one rider was killed in a motorcycle accident on Godley Road.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m., at the 4000 block of Godley Road near Mount Pleasant Road.
According to the officers, a southbound motorcyclist was traveling on Godley Road and hit the back of a northbound minivan that was attempting to turn left.
The impact ejected the rider onto the roadway, causing life-threatening injuries.
Responding EMTs declared the unidentified motorcyclist dead at the scene. Placer County Officials will release the identity of the deceased victim once the next of kin has been notified.
The three occupants inside the minivan did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
Officials have not provided any additional information about the crash to the public at this time.
