Rosalinda Bucio, Francisco Polinasainz and Yvette Guzman Killed, Saundra Foutz Hurt in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 46 [Shandon, CA]
3 Killed, 3 Injured in 3-Vehicle Collision near West Centre Street
SHANDON, CA (July 31, 2024) – Sunday night, Rosalinda Bucio, Francisco Polinasainz and Yvette Guzman died in a wrong-way crash on Highway 46.
Dispatchers received calls around 10:30 p.m., near West Centre Street on July 28th.
According to reports, 30-year-old Saundra Foutz from Paso Robles was driving the wrong way on Highway 46. As a result, she collided head-on with a 2022 Honda.
The impact cause fatal injuries to the Honda driver, 24-year-old Bucio, of Cutler and two passengers: 32-year-old Guzman, of Sanger and a 27-year-old Polinasainz, from Reedley.
In addition, another passenger from Orange Cove suffered major injuries. Foutz also suffered major injuries and received emergency medical treatment.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
