26-Year-Old Passenger Pronounced Dead after High-Speed Crash near East Technical Drive
TUCSON, AZ (July 29, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, a high-speed accident on Aviation Parkway claimed the life of Nicole Gutierrez.
Dispatchers received calls around 1:30 a.m., near Technical Drive on July 23rd.
Investigators say the driver of a black Dodge Charger was heading east on Aviation Parkway at high rates of speed.
The driver then lost control and crashed into a building at the 3700 block of East Technical Drive, ejecting both occupants.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced 26-year-old Gutierrez dead at the scene. Meanwhile, crews took the driver to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There are currently no further details available to the public regarding the incident; however, more information will be released when it becomes available.
