1 Killed, 3 Injured in High-Speed Crash on South 200th Street [SeaTac, WA]
One Pronounced Dead after High-Speed Collision near 32nd Street
SEATAC, WA (July 2nd, 2024) – Friday afternoon, one victim was killed and three were hurt in a high-speed crash on South 200th Street.
Around 4:50 p.m., police officers responded to the scene near 32nd Street on June 21st after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Responding officers say the driver of a white Honda was heading west and hit a green and black Chevrolet Malibu that was heading north on 32nd Street.
The impact caused one of the involved vehicles to eventually overturn. Emergency crews arrived and extricated one trapped victim from the overturned vehicle.
Paramedics transported four occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Crews say three victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
Due to the extent of their condition, one of the victims later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
After their release from the hospital, one of the drivers was booked into the King County Jail.
Following preliminary duties, both vehicles were impounded for further inspection. Investigators blocked the roadway for a brief time before it was later reopened by 8:00 p.m.
