One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Rundberg Lane

AUSTIN, TX (July 1st, 2024) – Monday morning, one person was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Cameron Road.

First responders arrived to the scene at the 9200 block of Cameron Road around 6:15 a.m., near Rundberg Lane on June 24th.

Reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian and remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian lying on the highway with life-threatening injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Responding personnel shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. No other information was released, and the crash remains under investigation. Once available, more details will be provided.
