DALLAS, TX (June 27th, 2024) – Early Friday, one woman was pronounced dead after a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on West Northwest Highway.

Around 2:20 a.m., police officers responded to the 2800 block of West Northwest Highway near the Bachman Lake and Love Field area on June 7th.

Investigation showed that a man and a woman were crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk. The driver of an eastbound vehicle then hit the woman and fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.

Further investigation remains ongoing, and any witnesses are urged to contact local officers as soon as possible. Once available, more details will be provided.
