17-Year-Old Rider Dies after Colliding with a Vehicle on Woodland Hills Drive

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 13, 2024) – Wednesday evening, Caleb Hill was killed in a motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market Road 1960.

Authorities responded to the scene just before 10:00 p.m., near Woodland Hills Drive on May 29th.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Hill was riding his motorcycle in the eastbound lanes of FM-1960, approaching the intersection.

Meanwhile, a green 2003 Ford Expedition was making a left turn onto south Woodland Hills Drive.

There, Hill collided with the vehicle as it made the turn, ejecting the rider onto the road. In addition, the report stated that another vehicle may have struck Hill which severely injured him.

Despite life-saving efforts, medical personnel pronounced 17-year-old Hill dead at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities evaluated the Ford driver and he displayed no signs of being intoxicated. At this time, the authorities have not yet released who had the right-of-way. Further investigation remains ongoing.
