Unidentified Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident near Polin Springs Trail Northeast
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (June 20, 2024) – Late Sunday night in May, one man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Chico Road Northeast.
The Albuquerque Police Department received reports around 10:00 p.m., near Polin Springs Trail Northeast on May 19th.
Officers say the driver of a dark-colored SUV struck a man who was standing in the roadway in the area. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities.
Upon arrival, authorities found the man lying on the roadway unconscious. Medical personnel later pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police officers have not yet released his name or place of residency.
