Man Dies in Rear-End Two-Car Crash on FM 907 [Edinburg, TX]
1 Pronounced Dead after 2-Vehicle Collision on Wisconsin Road
EDINBURG, TX (May 28, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, one man was killed in a rear-end two-car crash on FM 907.
Authorities responded to the scene around 1:00 a.m., near Wisconsin Road on May 5th.
Per reports, an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado rear-ended a stationary Ford Focus on Wisconsin Road while a man was lying on the Ford’s trunk.
The impact sent the male victim airborne, while the Ford veered into an open field and stopped. As a result, medics transported the man from the Ford’s trunk to DHR at Renaissance in Edinburg with life-threatening injuries; he passed away on Monday.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased man.
Paramedics also took the Chevrolet driver to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries before they released him later that morning. The Texas Department of Public Safety will provide more information about the fatal rear-end two-car crash near FM 907 once available.
