19-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Crash near Via Centre
VISTA, CA (May 16, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, Chris Hendrickson was killed in a motorcycle collision on Hacienda Drive.
Police received reports around 1:00 p.m., at the 2000 block of Hacienda Drive, near Via Centre in North County.
According to the sheriff’s department, a person riding a Suzuki motorcycle collided with a Subaru Hatchback for unknown reasons.
The impact of the crash ejected the rider from their motorcycle, leaving them with significant injuries.
Responding paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Tri-City Medical Center where he died. Authorities later identified the deceased victim as 19-year-old Hendrickson.
Police also said the Subaru driver did not sustain injuries from the collision. Vista Officials will provide more information regarding the fatal Hacienda Drive two-vehicle crash once available.
The loved ones of Hendrickson started a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this time.
