Five Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near 106th Street East
ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (May 9, 2024) – Sunday evening, a 2-car accident on Highway 138 claimed the lives of five people.
The incident occurred around 8:12 p.m., along the eastbound lanes of Pearlblossom Highway near 106th Street East.
According to the report, a Mitsubishi sedan and a blue Toyota Yaris collided with each other for reasons unknown. The impact of the crash trapped all occupants of both vehicles.
Responding emergency personnel declared both drivers dead at the scene. Paramedics also declared three other occupants deceased, due to the extent of injuries sustained.
At this time, the identities of the deceased victims remain undisclosed to the public. The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert in the area of 106th Street as crews investigated the scene.
