Two Pronounced Dead, Four Hospitalized after Car Slams into Home near Lone Mountain Parkway

PEORIA, AZ (April 25, 2024) – Late Sunday night, Shane Johnson and Aiden Ellis died after crashing into a home on Vistancia Boulevard.

Shortly after midnight, officers responded to the scene near Lone Mountain Parkway on April 14th.

According to reports, the driver of a westbound 2018 black Infiniti Q60 failed to yield at a stop sign on 126th Avenue, continuing through the intersection and crashing into a home.

As a result, all six occupants of the car sustained major injuries. Two of the occupants later succumbed to their injuries: 20-year-old Shane Johnson and 19-year-old Aiden Ellis, both from Tempe.

Emergency crews transported the six occupants to a nearby hospital, where the other four remain, two of whom are in critical condition. Fortunately, no one inside the home suffered any injuries.

Detectives are still conducting further investigation. No further details regarding crash are public at this time; however, more information will be provided once made available.
