23-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Curry Road C
CURRY COUNTY, NM (March 19, 2024) – Wednesday evening, Brandon Galvan was killed in a pedestrian accident on Curry Road 10.
Authorities responded to the 200 block of Curry Road 10 Northwest, near Curry Road C on February 28th.
Per reports, the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was heading east and struck a pedestrian who was running in the eastbound lanes. Upon impact, the Chevy driver stopped and contacted police.
Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced 23-year-old Galvan dead at the scene. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
No additional information was added by the investigators, and the Curry County Sheriff’s Office is handling further investigation. Once available, further details will be provided.
