20-Year-Old Man Arrested after Deadly Solo-Vehicle Crash near Neal Spring Road
PASO ROBLES, CA (March 13, 2024) – Monday morning, Carlos Diaz and Aliandro Gomez were hurt and Angel Ramos was arrested after a fatal crash.
Officer received calls around 12:30 a.m., on Creston Road just west of Neal Spring Road.
According to reports, the driver of a 2008 BMW 328i lost control while traveling at a high rate of speed. As a result, the BMW left the roadway and overturned several times, ejecting three passengers onto the road.
Medics arrived and transported 41-year-old Carlos Torres Diaz and 47-year-old Aliandro Torres Gomez to Sierra Vista Medical Center in San Luis Obispo with significant injuries.
Due to the extent of their condition, crews also pronounced a 43-year-old passenger from Santa Maria dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released their identity.
Investigators say the driver of the BMW fled the scene. On Tuesday, CHP managed to arrest 20-year-old Angel Melquiades Ramos for suspected hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
