Two Teens Dead, One Hospitalized after Single-Car Accident near Haven Avenue
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (March 12, 2024) – Friday afternoon, Elias and Sarah Cruz were killed in a solo-vehicle collision on Wilson Avenue.
The incident occurred around 4:25 p.m., near Haven Avenue and Chaffey College.
According to reports, the driver of a westbound white Ford Mustang lost control after crossing through the intersection. Consequently, the Mustang crashed into an electric power pole before hitting a tree.
The driver and the passenger sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Los Osos High School later identified the two deceased victims as 17-year-old Elias Cruz and 15-year-old Sarah Cruz.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a 17-year-old male passenger to a nearby hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
