35-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Rear-End Crash near DeWolf Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (March 11, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, Christopher Garner was killed in a motorcycle collision on Manning Avenue.

Authorities responded to the scene around 4:40 a.m., near DeWolf Avenue.

Per reports, Garner was riding a westbound Honda motorcycle at a high rate of speed and failed to notice a vehicle ahead. As a result, the motorcyclist rear-ended the vehicle, ejecting him onto the dirt shoulder. 

Responding medical personnel transported 35-year-old Garner, of Fresno to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

The Fresno County Officials are asking those who witnessed the crash to contact the CHP as soon as possible. Once available, further details will be provided.
