45-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Speeding Collision near Palestine

ANDERSON COUNTY, TX (March 11, 2024) – Saturday night, Julie Warden was killed in a car accident on State Highway 155.

Police responded around 9:25 p.m., about nine miles south of Palestine.

For reasons under investigation, Warden was traveling at high rates of speed and failed to negotiate a curve. As a result, the vehicle began to skid before entering the center median and overturning, ejecting Warden onto the road.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 45-year-old Warden, of Jacksonville dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported 16-year-old Nathaniel Lewis and 16-year-old Nathan Clewis to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
