Pedestrian-Auto Collision on Manitoba Drive Northeast Resulted in One Fatality
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (March 13, 2024) – On Thursday evening, police responded to an accident on Tramway Boulevard and Manitoba Drive Northeast.
The incident happened on February 22nd around 8:00 p.m. involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, they arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian lying on the ground.
Upon investigation, the authorities learned that the vehicle was on a green light on northbound Tramway Boulevard when the pedestrian crossed along a crosswalk.
Furthermore, the emergency responders attempted to save the life of the victim but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and their identity was not yet released.
