Mother and Daughter Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Esperanza Road

DALLAS, TX (March 6, 2024) – Tuesday, Joselin Borjas Paogada and Daylin Borjas were killed in a pedestrian accident on Spring Valley Road.

Officers received dispatch calls around 4:00 p.m., near Esperanza Road.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a black Dodge Challenger struck a woman and a young girl in the area. Upon impact, the driver stopped to render aid and cooperate with the investigation.

Paramedics arrived and transported the mother and her daughter to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Investigators later identified the mother as 26-year-old Joselin and the daughter as 4-year-old Daylin.
