Michelle Holloway Dead after Crashing into St. David’s North Austin Medical Center [Austin, TX]

57-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Solo-Car Crash on North Mopac Expressway
AUSTIN, TX (February 29, 2024) – Michelle Holloway died early Tuesday night, after crashing into St. David’s North Austin Medical Center.
Police officers responded to the scene around 5:48 p.m., at 12221 North Mopac Expressway on February 13th.
For reasons under investigation, 52-year-old Holloway lost control while driving and crashed into the emergency room at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center.
Paramedics arrived and extricated Holloway from the severely damaged vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts, Holloway later succumbed to her injuries.
In addition, at least five people suffered injuries, including two children who were waiting in the lobby. All injured victims were transported to another hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Peter DeYoung says St. David’s North Austin Medical Center remains operable and they will take in patients.
Following the incident, the police are looking into the speed as a potential factor. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
