Man Arrested after Solo-Vehicle Collision near Avenue 15
MADERA, CA (February 28, 2024) – Tuesday evening, Ismael Meza was arrested and his passenger was hurt in a DUI crash on Tozer Street.
Authorities responded to the scene near Avenue 15, after receiving dispatch calls in the area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an overturned pickup-truck roughly 75 feet away from the roadway. Paramedics transported the passenger to a nearby hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Following preliminary duties, officers determined that the driver was under the influence. As a result, police arrested and booked Meza into the Madera County Jail for felony DUI charges.
