45-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Pedestrian Collision near Garnsey Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 22, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, police arrested Daisy Gonzalez following a DUI crash on Stockdale Highway.
Officers responded to the scene at the 3700 block of Stockdale Highway near Garnsey Avenue around 2:55 p.m.
Investigators say the driver of an eastbound Cadillac struck a woman who was attempting to enter her parked Ford.
Responding medical personnel transported the 45-year-old woman to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, police arrested the driver, identified as 32-year-old Daisy Gonzalez, for felony DUI. Bakersfield Officials are asking those who witnessed the DUI crash to contact the BPD at 661-327-7111.
