Dual-Car Collision near Highway 79 Left One Dead, Three Hospitalized

WARNER SPRINGS, CA (February 21, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 76 took the life of a woman and left three others injured Saturday afternoon. 

The fatal collision happened around 2:44 p.m. in the area of Highway 76 and Highway 79 in Warner Springs. 

According to Brent Pascua of Cal Fire, one of the cars t-boned the other vehicle at the intersection. 

The first responders declared a female victim from the incident dead at the scene. Meanwhile, three other patients were transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

One of the victims of the crash refused further medical evaluation. Additionally, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties but has since been reopened.

At this time, the identity of the deceased female victim remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin. 

No further details regarding the fatal Highway 76 two-vehicle crash have been released to the public. The California Highway Patrol will provide more information once available.
