61-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Pinecreek Drive
COSTA MESA, CA (February 21, 2024) – Early Friday morning, Dolores Pliego was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Adams Avenue.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m., near Pinecreek Drive.
At this time, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain under investigation. However, responding paramedics transported a pedestrian to a trauma center where they succumbed to their injuries.
The Costa Mesa Police Department later identified the deceased victim as 61-year-old Dolores Pliego.
Authorities said the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officials do not suspect speed to be a factor in the incident.
