Pedestrian-Auto Accident on South Las Vegas Boulevard Resulted in One Death
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 20, 2024) – On Friday evening, a pedestrian died after a crash on West Richmar Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard.
The fatal incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m., February 9th, when troopers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded.
Upon arriving, the authorities saw one adult pedestrian lying on the roadway with no signs of life. Authorities later pronounced the pedestrian dead, and they have yet to release the victim’s identity.
Furthermore, the investigation showed that the pedestrian was crossing outside a marked crosswalk.
Consequently, a white SUV headed southbound on Las Vegas Boulevard struck the victim.
Authorities have yet to add information about the crash. Further investigation is currently ongoing.
