Multiple Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Accident near FM 973

AUSTIN, TX (February 14, 2024) – Sunday night, Jorge Sifuentes, Rosales Perez and Erik Olivares were killed in a head-on crash on FM 812. 

Authorities responded to the scene around 10:00 p.m., near FM 973 on February 11th.

According to reports, a man driving a Dodge Ram the wrong-way collided head-on with another Dodge Ram. In addition, a Jeep became involved in the crash.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 43-year-old Sifuentes, 46-year-old Perez, and Olivares dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics took the Jeep driver to Dell Seton Medical Center with minor injuries.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
