Paul Sanchez Dies in Bicycle Accident on Clinton Avenue [Fresno, CA]
33-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run near Van Ness Avenue
FRESNO, CA (February 14, 2024) – Paul Sanchez died Saturday night, in a bicycle accident on Clinton Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene around 10:00 p.m., near Van Ness Avenue.
Based on initial reports, the driver of a dark-colored vehicle struck a bicycle in the area. The driver then fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.
Responding medical personnel transported the victim to Community Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Fresno police later identified the deceased bicyclist as 33-year-old Paul Sanchez.
Police have not released any additional information regarding the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. Those who witnessed the fatal hit-and-run are encouraged to contact Fresno Officials as soon as possible.
