Vehicle Accident near Sterling Hill Lane Left Three People Hospitalized

LAKESIDE, CA (February 19, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a solo car crash on Winter Gardens Boulevard sent at least three people to a hospital. 

Authorities responded to the incident around 3:05 a.m. along Winter Gardens Blvd, just south of Sterling Hill Lane.

Upon arrival, the CHP officers learned that a southbound 2011 Buick Enclave lost control and made an unsafe turning movement for reasons unknown. 

Subsequently, the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a residence located at 9060 Winter Gardens Boulevard per initial reports. 

Officials identified only identified the driver as a 39-year-old man while the two passengers were identified as a 37-year-old and a 41-year-old man. 

Responding emergency personnel transported all three patients to Sharp Memorial Hospital for significant injuries. At this time, it is unclear if any resident inside the home was injured from the crash.
