One Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Collision on Alta Mere Drive [Forth Worth, TX]
1 Killed, 3 Injured in 18-Wheeler Collision near Highway 184
FORTH WORTH, TX (February 14, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, one person was fatally injured in a wrong-way collision on Alta Mere Drive.
Police officers responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m., near Highway 184 on January 25th, after reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a truck.
Furthermore, troopers arrived at the scene and found both vehicles had sustained heavy damage. Unfortunately, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, their identities was not yet released.
Meanwhile, three other people suffered injuries to an unknown extent, and paramedics immediately transported them to the hospital.
Consequently, the troopers blocked the lanes and by 10:30 a.m., eastbound lanes of I-30 at Cherry Lane were reopened. All lanes were reopened after the clearing duties and further investigation.
