Thuong Duong Dies in DUI Collision on Cambridge Avenue [Fresno, CA]
51-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision on Fresno Street
FRESNO, CA (February 8, 2024) – Saturday evening, Thuong Duong was fatally struck in a DUI collision on Cambridge Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:00 p.m., near Fresno Street on January 27th.
Per reports, the driver of a southbound vehicle struck a female pedestrian who was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk. Responding paramedics transported the woman to Community Regional Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as 51-year-old Duong, of Fresno.
Police arrested the suspect at the scene for driving under the influence of marijuana. Those who witnessed the fatal pedestrian crash are encouraged to contact Fresno Officials. Once available, further details will be provided.
