33-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Campbell Avenue

TUCSON, AZ (February 7, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, Carlsten Dale White was killed in a two-vehicle collision on East Grant Road.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:00 a.m., at the 1800 block of East Grant Road near Campbell Avenue on January 30th.

Investigators say White was driving a grey 2011 Nissan Murano south while a gold 2015 Jeep Cherokee was heading west. The two vehicles then collided at the intersection.

Paramedics arrived and transported White and two occupants from inside the Jeep to Banner University Medical Center with serious wounds. Due to the extent of his condition, 33-year-old White eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Following preliminary duties, police suspect speed to be a factor in the collision. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
