ALBUQUERQUE, NM (February 6, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a skateboarder was hospitalized after a bus accident on 1st Street.
Authorities responded to the scene near Gold Avenue on January 24th.
Officers say the driver of an Albuquerque ART bus attempted to make a left turn at the intersection. There, a skateboarder was unable to stop in time and struck the side of the bus.
Paramedics arrived and took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for further treatment of head injuries.
Meanwhile, the bus driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigaiton.
