2-Car Collision Near 40th Street West 17-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 6, 2024) – Late Saturday evening, a two-vehicle crash on Rosamond Boulevard sent a teenage boy to a hospital.
The CHP responded to the collision around 11:24 p.m. in the area of Rosamond Blvd and 40th Street West.
Upon arrival, the first responders discovered two vehicles with significant damages. However, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear.
Paramedics rushed one of the drivers, described to be a 17-year-old boy, to Antelope Valley Hospital. The teenager remained listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the second driver was also hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries. Police do not suspect drugs and alcohol to be a factor in the incident.
