Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Pickup-Truck on Rosedale Highway [Bakersfield, CA]
30-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Rudd Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 2, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, a woman was fatally struck by a pickup-truck on Rosedale Highway.
The incident occurred around 6:03 a.m., near Rudd Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado was heading east and struck a person who was walking north outside of a marked crosswalk.
Medical personnel later pronounced the 30-year-old female pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released her identity.
Upon impact, the driver of the Silverado immediately pulled over and contacted police. At this time, the CHP is working to determine the circumstances leading up to the pedestrian collision near Rudd Avenue.
